Episode #5: Clearing Space

Pics from Jon’s garage (minus the dangerous stuff)

Heather and Jon have moved locations. They are on Jon's property, more specifically in his shop. Nestled between table saws and antique fixtures, we pulled up two chairs and talked about clearing space, finding new and the idea we are two clicks away from hard times and...how these things could actually lead us to be better humans.

WARNING: Jon swears a lot. Let’s put it this way, it’s serious increase percentage-wise from the others.

When someone dies or you lose somebody or something else devastating happens, the idea of control is so blown out of the water. You have no control. They are gone and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it, but I can put her vase in the same (#$#!)ing spot. You look for whatever ways to help (give you) some sense of control.

I haven’t done anything to my bedroom in years. Piles of stuff around, it was room no one could go in because it was choas. And that was my brain, it was chaos.

Nothing good can come from Krissy’s death... but from the pain and the suffering (it) has changed how I see things, how I see people. Am I still shitty at it? 100 percent. Can I still tell someone off at the stoplight? 100 percent.
